i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. and so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god's children.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pauntil there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. and those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to busineas usual. and there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: in the proceof gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterneand hatred. we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. and they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.
and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
we cannot turn back.
there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as the negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousnelike a mighty stream.

上午好!能在這樣一個春風吹拂、陽光明媚的日子里，參加全市職業(yè)高中學生演講比賽，我感到非常高興!我演講的題目是《財會事業(yè)-----我終生無悔的選擇》。
記得小時侯，和同齡人一樣，我有過許許多多的美麗的夢想：我渴望成為一名知書達理的老師，把自己所有的知識都無私的授予我的學生，成為太陽底下最光榮的人;我渴望成為一名救死扶傷的白衣天使，用善良美好的心靈和高超的醫(yī)術(shù)去消除病人的痛苦，讓快樂永遠伴隨他們;我渴望成為一名風度翩翩的空中小姐，用自己的真誠服務和微笑去感染身邊的每一位旅客。
但是漫漫人生路，中間有多少無奈的選擇!20xx年那個黑色的六月，驅(qū)走了我兒時的幻想。當我接到成績通知單時，我不得不承認這一殘酷無情的事實，三年的心血換來的竟是那慘不忍睹的三個數(shù)字。
普高沒進，干脆去上班算了。父親念叨著，那以前的努力不是白花了嗎?還有何前途?母親回應著，哪有錢去買?父親大口大口吸著煙，母親無言以對，在這一剎那，我似乎看到父親那憔悴的臉和那布滿血絲的眼中混濁的淚。忍不住兩行熱淚奪眶而出，無聲無息順著臉頰流入嘴角，苦苦的，澀澀的。
后來，母親從別人的口中得知我還可以讀職業(yè)學校，畢業(yè)后可以安排就業(yè)，也可以參加高考，上大學，這也許是我唯一的轉(zhuǎn)機!
第二天，踏上了漫漫征途。心里涌上一股莫名的惆悵與苦澀，我不清楚前面等待著我的將是什么?
剛踏進職校，面對著一個陌生的環(huán)境，學自己一竅不通的專業(yè)會計。上課時會計教師如數(shù)家珍似的為我們介紹會計的產(chǎn)生、發(fā)展、變革的歷史，聽起來如同嚼蠟，勾不起我絲毫的興趣。逐漸對自己的選擇感到后悔，可是我就是一千個不樂意，一萬個不滿意又有什么用呢? 后來，班主任知道我的心思，更理解我的心情，為了不讓我背上思想包袱，她鼓勵我說：社會越是發(fā)展，越是進步，需要的各種人才就越多，不要小看這個專業(yè)，隨著經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展，會計的實用性會越來越大。既然選擇了會計這一行，就得熱愛這一行。同時她還播放了一視頻，畫面上的全國首位點鈔王，她只用5秒鐘就點完1萬元，據(jù)介紹，點鈔機點完也要七八秒。此情此景，讓我的思緒如疾風快馬奔馳千里，我一遍又一遍地回味著的老師的話：路是自己選擇的，要靠自己走下去，靠自己去實現(xiàn)人生的價值。
于是，我走出了黑夜的徘徊，走出了青春的傍徨，走出了人生的迷茫。是的，既然我認定了這個目標，我就必須執(zhí)著地追求，鍥而不舍地拼搏，堅定地走下去。經(jīng)過老師的循循教導，經(jīng)過自己一段時間的思考和培養(yǎng)，我終于愛上了我的專業(yè)，愛得如癡如醉，面對許許多多的專業(yè)知識，我不但不覺得枯燥無味，反而覺得其樂無窮。課本上的知識不再是枯燥的文字，那是一個個跳動的音符，是一首首歡快的樂曲。
在學校的兩年時間里，我不能忘卻：當早晨第一縷陽光悄然灑落大地時，我端坐在明亮的教室里，和同學們一道誦讀各種專業(yè)知識，你難道不覺得那就是一串串跳動的音符，正奏響著新世紀少年充滿陽光的心聲么?中午時分，當三三兩兩的人群悠閑地步出食堂時，我便和同學們一起，聚精會神地坐在電腦前，熟悉電算化的相關(guān)內(nèi)容;夜幕低垂，我埋頭苦練珠算技術(shù)，在一陣陣算珠撞擊的清脆聲，我似乎看到了我的理想之舟已經(jīng)揚帆遠航。
大作家余秋雨曾說過：選擇你愛的事業(yè)，愛你選擇的事業(yè)，并用百倍的信心、勇氣和努力去澆灌他，無論將來成功與否，你都能說-------我終生無悔!
學會財會知識，走進財會專業(yè)成為我人生的一個新起點!沉醉于專業(yè)知識的海洋，來往于財經(jīng)報道的通道，使我在重新審視自己的同時，又一次默默地告誡自己：作一名ceo也許是別人的夢想，但任何一企業(yè)的生存發(fā)展都離不開會計人員。選擇你愛的，愛你選擇的，學習專業(yè)知識，苦練基本技能成為我的第一目標。自此，我認識了會計科目，知道了資產(chǎn)負債表，利潤表，明白了稅務檢查和會計帳務之間的關(guān)系，而會計軟件使得會計信息的電算化使我如沐春風，又一次堅定了自己的選擇!

剛才認真傾聽了大家聲情并茂的演講，主要有三點體會：
一是演講主題昂揚向上，富有時代氣息。大家緊扣活動主題，結(jié)合當前的國情、區(qū)情、局情，結(jié)合財政工作實際和自身的經(jīng)歷感受，引經(jīng)據(jù)典，博古論今，抒發(fā)愛國情感贊頌民族精神，謳歌祖國建設(shè)取得的巨大成就，展望財政改革發(fā)展的美好明天，選手們激情昂揚，會場高潮迭起，觀眾們倍受感染，演講效果很好，這是一次精彩的演講，成功的演講。
